Been busy and burning the midnight oil over the last few days. Thanks to the 1911 Census, I've been able to tie up some loose ends and the family tree is certainly growing. I'm back to the mid-1700s for most of the lines. In this photo you can see my Mum (far left) with her siblings when they were little.
The family names on my maternal side are Murray; Santiero (fled from Turin to England in 1804 during the Napoleonic Wars); Fürst (Hamburg); Hostombe (France); and Basté (Flanders). Get in touch if a genealogy-google has led you here! I'd be happy to share my research and to learn from you too.
