Easter Sunday

We awoke to a fine Easter Morning and piled into the cars to head over to St Ives for Mass. Mum and Dad are members of the choir, so the rest of us had a free pass up to the organ loft too. No surprises that little Findlay was my big distraction. Ten minutes in, he announced resolutely, “Had enough now”.

With a cloudless blue above, we stayed on in St Ives for a wander after Mass. Findlay broke free and ran along the harbour-front clutching a large chocolate ice cream in chubby dimpled hands.

Flipflopped feet; a bay so still that you could float a limpet on it; busy boats pulling in to drop anchor; and the most exquisite quality of light... my one big regret is that we didn’t have a camera with us! Boo!

I love Easter.
