Blimey, I’m enjoying my Spanish! It absorbs me for four to five hours a day. Okay, I doubt I would be quite so willing a student were it not for Michel Thomas’ CDs though! His method seems to empower the student, adding small building-blocks at a time so that, very quickly, you feel competent. Go me!
I’m wearing out my pause button though from having to stop while I laugh myself silly over Dad’s efforts to translate phrases. His best one to date has been "una assienda mirabile" for 'a wonderful arse'.
