Olympics

I shall be brief here as there are plenty far more interesting things than BupBup blogs to keep you distracted now that the Olympic Games are soon to be underway.  I so wish I had been with you all to hear the bells across the land and I only hope that there will be footage of it to watch when I return.

Just to say that I had my last day at school.  The children have all gone home now while the teachers write reports and mark the last of the exams.  One girl in Primary 7 had "the demons enter her" in her R.E. exam earlier.  The Charismatics were called in by the parents who prayed over her and sent the 'good spirits' into her body to fight with the demons.  The child convulsed throughout this period of time and then fell relaxed and peaceful.  The 'good spirits' had won and the child was restored to good health, standing up and walking away... and having not completed her very hard R.E. exam.  I watched the whole affair play out before my eyes, completely unconvinced.
