My African Summer

This is Jinja, Uganda.  And this is where I am going to spend the summer.  I shall be helping the children with their learning (whilst they help me with mine, I'm sure!) in a rural primary school.

I look at pictures and see the redness of the earth and the freshness of the jungles.

I cannot wait for the new sounds and smells and tastes of Africa.  Truly, I want to immerse myself in The Different and The Beautiful... something a world apart from London.

If I can seek out internet connection, I might be able to tell you of some of my African stories along the way.  So keep an eye on the BupBup Blog.

I depart on the 9th!  Let the adventures begin.
