It doesn't look at all like a plate! Perhaps more like a baker's bun which has proved and just been popped into the oven. It puffs up like this and fills the sandy bay beneath the live rock.And you can also see Scarlett the Cleaner Shrimp. She poises herself like this and sways from side to side like a tennis player about to receive a serve. When I put my hand into the tank to do maintenance, she hops on and enjoys the ride!
