My sister’s newborn baby is a little poppet. She arrived at 10.20am on Sunday morning, a whopping 9lbs 6oz, named shortly afterwards, quiet and chilled out, and already very much adored.
Findlay, Soph’s first child who is two and a half years old, came downstairs to look at her five minutes after she was born. He stared closely, touched her arm and said to Soph, “I love you, Mummy.” Later, he told Grannie on the phone that the baby was a boy but they cut his willy off and now she's a girl. He was referring to the umbilical cord.
