Chocolate Brownies - a little slice of heaven

100g butter
100g plain flour
100g plain chocolate (Tescos or Sainsburys own are very good. High cocoa content!)
200g caster sugar
2 beaten eggs
Half teaspoon baking powder
Pinch salt
Method 180*C Gas mark 4

Gently melt the butter and chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Then take off the heat and stir in all the other ingredients. Spread mixture in a greased baking tin and cook for 30 to 40 minutes whilst licking the bowl clean. Test to see whether or not it is cooked by piercing centre with a knife and it should come out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before cutting into squares and enjoying your little slice of chocolate heaven.
